Adtran
The merger of ADTRAN and ADVA in 2021 created a major global leader in optical networks. This combination of portfolios under the Adtran brand has expanded the product offering and strengthened position in the XGS-PON and telecommunications technology markets.
ADVA Optical Networking was originally a German company founded in 1994. From the outset, the company's goal was to innovate network technologies and transmissions. The success of Adva's products was made possible by fast and powerful technologies offering high capacity and stability. The need for flawless and reliable connectivity is shared across all markets and continents. While networks are adapting to market demands and enabling more complex infrastructures for data processing, access to this data remains crucial for organizations.
As part of an earlier acquisition at the end of 2017, the entire portfolio of transport and aggregation network technologies of the MRV Communications holding company was transferred to the ADVA brand.
This has expanded ADVA's portfolio beyond telecommunications operators to its current range of technologies:
