Converters and mulitplexers

Media converters (converters) provide solutions for the conversion of electrical signals to optical, resp. enable the connection of metallic networks with optical ones. Media converters allow the use of devices without optical interfaces in optical networks, increase the range of existing networks and extend the distance between two devices using optical fibers up to 10 km (MM fiber) and 130 km (SM fiber), respectively. Protocol conversion units and data and telecommunication line multiplexers are also available.
