Edge-Core Networks, our leading supplier of network hardware, announced the launch of the new EAP-104 Lite access point. The access point is designed for commercial and enterprise environments such as hotels, apartment complexes and SMBs.
The EAP104 is equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technologies, including OFDMA, MU-MIMO and 1024-QAM. This provides up to 3 Gbps of aggregate data throughput and supports up to 128 connected devices. The access point also features a built-in 4-port gigabit switch that allows you to connect both wireless and wired devices. The EAP104 supports PoE pass-through, for connecting additional devices to the AP, such as a camera or another AP.
