VDG Sense camera with new object recognition functions
21.01.2021
The new version of VDG Sense video management has an intelligent ObjectC function that can distinguish types of objects and detect for example, queues of people in shops, the type or delay of the vehicle in the monitored zone, etc.
VDG Sense - VK of TKH Security is now in version 2.6.6, which brings a number of improvements. The most interesting features:
ObjectC
This is a completely new algorithm that allows the classification and counting of objects. This completely developed server function can distinguish and classify 8 types of objects in streaming video using the Deep Learning technique (person, car, bicycle, motorcycle, bus, train, truck and ship). For Deep learning technology, the algorithm uses primarily the performance of the graphics card. Based on the detection of crossing lines, set areas and classified objects or even the number of objects, then it is possible to set automated event triggering. Among the practical examples of use:
crowd management - for example, triggers an alert if there are more than ten people in an area for more than ten seconds
vehicle type detection – for example, triggers an alarm if a vehicle is detected in a zone reserved for another vehicles
Stop and Go application - for example, triggers an alert if a detected car is in the zone for more than 30 seconds
GeoMap
The new GeoMap feature allows operators to see the actual GPS position of installed cameras. It uses an online tool to display the position of the cameras, which also indicates the connection status of the camera (online / offline) using the color of the icons. Each camera position can be configured separately by defining GPS coordinates.
The VDG Sense video management system offers a professional solution for video management from security IP cameras. VDG Sense Pro is an efficient software with high user comfort, designed for surveillance security systems of all sizes. The system can also be extended with advanced video analysis functions such as vehicle license plate recognition or PID (perimeter protection). In combination with IP cameras from various manufacturers, VDG Sense offers the perfect solution for security applications, including perimeter protection and intrusion detection.
The scalable system successfully manages networks ranging in size from several cameras to thousands of cameras. The system can be easily integrated with third-party applications (eg iProtect - access control, FlinQ - Security Management, ParkEyes, ParkAssist and Herta Face Recognition)
Properties:
• efficient and reliable Video Management System (VMS)
• live video, playback, plans and maps
• simple installation and easy operation (including control of PTZ cameras)
• variable user interface and different profiles for individual users
• ONVIF support to ensure compatibility with devices from different manufacturers
• extensive setting options and unique custom creation (free!)
• virtual server support - VMware (free!)
• video wall support - IPWall (free!)
• many algorithms available for free, such as: face detection, color detection, smart motion detection, scene masking - color or "mosaic", event counting, recognition of SPZ (extra function)
